    Hi,

    Each time I have trouble with Windows, I do a full reinstallation (wipe everything). And by doing this, I also have to reinstall all my programs and it takes a lot of time.

    So I would like to know if there is a way to make an image or copy of a clean Windows with all Softwares so I don't have to reinstall them.

    Computer Won't Reboot - AMD Data Change...Updata New Data to DMI

    If he is getting stuck at verifying DMI pool data, that means his BIOS isn't finishing the POST process before it's hanging up. Although I'm confused now because he said he tried re-installing windows which would indicate that the machine is getting through the entire POST process.

    I'm confused now. I think we need a better, more descriptive version of what exactly is happening.

    Maybe a full step by step process of what is happening?

    Well, I'm sorry to hear that it's a WD My Passport that failed on you, @tomhenry ! *Frown Copy of Windows with Software and Data :(
    I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
    I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics.     Give these troubleshooting steps a try and keep us posted with the results!
