    What is needed to copy old programs to new or reset install? Programdata Appdata Registry? packagecaches or?How do I find and import export the registry and what else is needed?I'm tired of how much a struggle windows is. By default things are stupid/broken, or get updated to such...I could have built an arch linux by now from knowing nothing.Literally have done that. It was quicker, better experience than windows11.But I am using apps and things that rely on libraries and and which linux can't emulate and is even worse in virtual environment. Win 7 was also easier to use and setup at the ti

    Is it possible to export my favorites data and copy the ProgramData folder(C:\ProgramData) and my AppData folder(C:\Users\<username>\Appdata) folders to a DVD or memory stick, the old hard drive will be reformatted and used In the new computer as an archive space behind a SSD which will be the primary drive. Also, will ProgramData folder(C:\ProgramData) and my AppData folder(C:\Users\<username>\Appdata) exist in Windows 10?

    I don't recommend copying folders just export the favorites
    the folders of course exist but its better to use the import/export you can keep a backup of those folders just to be safe ... I do
