Windows 10: Copy/Paste excluding certain extension

I am trying to copy a folder from a network drive which is over 700GB. But since I only have 300GB free on my disk, it wouldn't copy.

But the 700GB data includes some files lets say with ".etc" extension and although low in numbers but these make up over 500GB of that data.

Is there any way either using windows native copy/paste utility or even powershell command that allows me to copy "all but the said files"? Or if there is any other way?

I can't delete these .etc files before copying because of the network protocol. Copying manually the entire folder is not an option here as its got 1000s of files scattered around.

COPY AND PASTE

We need more information about your concern so that we can identify the cause of the copy and paste issue. Please provide the following:

• What browser are you using?
• Is this issue happening with a specific website?

We suggest trying to do the same function (Copy and Paste) using a different browser and using other website as well.

Can someone just open a W10 support.

As a suggestion, it would be kinda cool if we could exclude certain thread categories from the "recent threads" list.
