    So I have 2 computers, a laptop and a tower, both with windows 10 obviously, and the same problem occurs on them. The issue is that some times, more often than not, when i take a screenshot (with Win + Shift + S) I cannot paste it in my documents, even if it appears to be copied in the clipboard (Win + V), and even if I take the screenshot again it doesn't work. For it to work I have to go to the sidepanel, click the taken screenshot and copy it manually from there (the windows gallery after clicking it).

    The strange thing is that it doesn't happen every time, and it has no consistency whatsoever. Any clue what the problem could be??

    • What is the exact issue that you’re facing?

    • Are you not able to copy or paste the files?

    • What exactly happens when you try to copy the files?

    • Are you getting any error message?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

    • To copy
      Ctrl + C
    • To Paste ctrl + V

    Copy and Paste released in emulator

    I figured I would post this since it is a frequently asked question. Many have asked when the Copy and Paste update will come. Right now the answer of the highest specificity is first quarter 2011 (which hasn't changed) it's worth mentioning that Microsoft
    has released an updated Windows Phone 7 Emulator to developers that contains the Copy and Paste functionality. This will give developer's a chance to test their applications against it and validate the behaviour of their software before it gets pushed out
    to every one.

    • What browser are you using?
    • Is this issue happening with a specific website?
    We suggest trying to do the same function (Copy and Paste) using a different browser and using other website as well.
