Windows 10: Copy/Paste text between virtual desktops

Hi,


I am unable to Copy (Ctrl+C) a text from any application (e.g. Chrome website) and Paste (Ctrl+V) it in another application (e.g. OneNote) IF IT IS IN ANOTHER VIRTUAL DESKTOP (VD). If I move the destination application in the source application VD then it is working fine. This is such a silly feature to have been overlooked by Microsoft the giant, makes me wonder if this is a glitch particular to my machine.


Can someone please help? Some acknowledgement from a Microsoft representative would be really appreciated!

Cut and paste copy between applications

Yes, copy & paste uses a virtual clipboard. So So when you select text in any app and copy it, you can then open any other app and the text you copied to the virtual clipboard can be pasted into it. All you need to do is touch the space on the screen where
you want to paste the text and then you'll see the paste icon in the black space above the keyboard, touch the icon and your copied text will be placed in the space you tapped.
