Windows 10: Copy to new flash drive won't copy deeply nested subfolders and files.

I just bought a set of large flash drives for document backup. I copy the entire folder to the drive, but many don't copy. I noticed that nested subfolders three or more tiers will not copy files. First two nested subfolders copy just fine, the rest are hit and miss. The deeper the subfolder, the more issues I have. After the fourth subfolder, nothing copies at all. They will sometimes copy if I go into that subfolder directly and recopy them manually after deleting that subfolder, then it might copy the files. It will say it's already there, and if I overwrite, but sometimes it still isn't th

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one
