Windows 10: Copying files

Good Day,


When copying multiple files usually I do it in ctrl+A, and transferring it to another, is there an option where I can only paste new files and not the same files that are already there without transferring the new ones one by one?


e.g. I Copied all1500 folders with files in A and pasted them to B which contains 1300 folders and files. What I want to happen is to have the 200 new folders and files pasted to B while the 1300 folders and files which are just the same with A won't copy, in just one click instead of pressing "Don't Copy" on each of the 1300 same files.

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click file explorer from the list.
  
• 
  Select the CD/DVD drive and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Select the files you want to copy from the CD/DVD, then select the drive where you want to paste or save.
