Windows 10: Copying from protected CD to a SD card

I am about to purchase a new car which does not have a CD player fitted. This is current trend with car manufacturers who appear to have ignored the fact that a number of CD's are protected in order to prevent copying.


I have a number of such CD's which gives me a problem. How can I transfer the music to either a SD card or a USB stick so I can continue to listen to them in my car.


I do know that Sony had a piece of software that was designed to allow copying from a CD to their mini disc player but I do not know if this is a still available and b would allow me to solve this new problem.
