Windows 10: Core Isolation Settings Don't Exist Memory Integrity/Driver Problem

TL;DR below

Because my computer has suddenly begun to have driver problems inability to install any driver [even the one I'm already using], as the computer claims it's incompatible. Video games stuttering heavily I looked online and saw the recent recommendation by Microsoft to turn off "Memory Integrity".


I search "Core Isolation" into my Start search bar. I open said application that appears in the results. It takes me to Windows Security instead, where a window pops up to say "Page not available. The page you are trying to access has no supported features and is not available."


I would truly appreciate the help. A plethora of problems has suddenly appeared in my computer, and I ran as many diagnostics and antiviruses I know of.. The only explanation I can find is the recent Windows update problem circulating, in which drivers are unable to be used.


TL;DR: Core Isolation, "The page you are trying to access has no supported features and is not available." I went there to try to turn off "Memory Integrity", as Microsoft has publicly said that this would fix my unresponsive drivers. I am unable to do so because Core Isolation is unavailable.

Cannot Turn On Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Settings

Not able to perform steps in Option 1
Under "Windows Defender Security Center", "Device Security" is not an option.
Winver reports Version 1709 (OS build 16299 402)
The processor is Intel I3
Virtualization is enabled in system BIOS.


Please advise.

core isolation was on for me without me doing a thing i think and i use kis. is vt-d and stuff enabled in your bios?
i do notice that i cannot scan a selected file with defender from right click context menu. it tells me something about it admin limiting access.

i didn't turn on memory integrity as i'm not sure what it does and i read here that you can't turn it off without going into registry

and somehow the firewall part says kis is handling the firewall, but under win def firewall bit the toggle is set as on. in control panel it says win def firewall off kis firewall on though. so i'll leave it as is

my mistake, maybe. i thought core isolation and the memory integrity are 2 separate things and that core isolation was on, since the gfx next to the words "core isolation" has a green tick on it and there's text saying "virtualisation-based security is running to protect the core parts of your device". too chicken still to touch memory integrity.

 

Memory Integrity: Core Isolation Error

I tried to Switch on Memory Integrity in Core Isolation in Windows Security Defender. After it does a scan for incompatible drivers, it throws an error saying Resolve any driver incompatibilities and scan again. So when I review incompatible driver it shows
a usb2ser.sys (MediaTek Inc.) which is incompatible and says to resolve problems with incompatible Drivers. So how to resolve this error? Thanks
