  1. Correct display resolution unavailable

Hi,I've been having issues for close to two months with my display resolution. I'm using a Dell Optiplex 7060 with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 with an Iyama PLB2712HDS monitor. I've used this configuration for five years without having any issues. One day my screen suddenly went black and I thought it had died, but I made different tests, which confirmed that the screen functions properly with another computer, and the computer functions with another screen. I tried updating or rolling back drivers, which eventually led to my usual screen being recognized but stuck with a really bad resolutio

    :)

Monitor is detected but display resolution is not correct

    One of two possibilities:

    1. Driver is still not correct, as you don't have the listed resolution to go to recommended for that monitor. If it is using a driver win 10 installed and not the manufacturer, then you need to try the manufacturer driver, list the display driver from device manager and we can go from there.

    2. Card in PC (Is it a card, or integrated mainboard graphics?) doesn't support that resolution, hence driver not listing it, etc.

Other possibility - what does the system show for the monitor listed in device manager?

  3. Display resolution not correct

I have just installed Win 10. over 8.1. Had a few bugs but was able to get them worked out except one. I have an INSIGNIA tv as my main monitor. I also have an ASUS high resolution 17" monitor for my 2nd display. It displays as it did with 8.1. The
insignia is set for 1080 pixel but the display is too large and only half of the icons in the task bar will be displayed. I cannot run the windows in full screen mode. My drivers for my graphics card and up to date, everything seems correct and settings
are showing 1080 for this display, it is just too large for the screen. Looking at the Hardware list it said this display (insignia) did not migrate. Does this mean it is not compatible with Win 10. Is there something I can do or do I need to go back to
    8.1 Pro???

    Display resolution keeps changing

    Hi Rick,

It might be caused by a faulty driver that's why your display resolution keeps changing. We
suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the display driver, see steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X and click on
      Device Manager.
    • For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Uninstall.
    • Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
