correct timezone not available in windows 10 date/time setup, how can I fix?

In winter, when there is no daylight saving time, the timezone in Amsterdam brussels, paris…. is UTC+1. During Daylight saving time it is UTC + 2, according to ISO 8601. At start of DTS the windows clock is changed to show the correct value, but the timezone still is UTC+1. Applications I use are an hour behind every time a start them or windows. I have a couple of workarouds but a proper solution for this eroor in windows would be appriciated

    :)

    Date/Time

Hi Allison, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a fellow Microsoft user.

Could I get you to try changing your time zone to another country, then changing it back to your own? This might reset the date and time settings.

    Here are the steps:

    - Click Start and type "date".

    - Click on Date & Time settings

    - Change your timezone to something else, then close the settings app. Open it to the same place again, then change your timezone back to what it should be.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Windows Time service.

    - Click Start and type "services.msc".

    - Click the first result.

    - Find Windows Time in the list, right-click it and click Restart.

Let me know how you go after trying these steps! Thanks!

    Weird date/time glitch

    Hi John,

This could be caused by an error on your system files or it could just be a mistake on your Date/Time settings. A normal restart usually fixes the issue, but if in case it doesn't you can try this steps instead.

    • Right-click on the date and time on your taskbar. A set of options should appear.
    • Choose Adjust date/time. Make sure that it is set to your correct timezone.
    • On the second drop-down, choose Don't show additional calendars.
    • At the bottom, click on Change date and time formats.
    • Suggested format should be:
    • Firs day of week - Sunday
    • Short date - M/d/yyyy
    • Long date - dddd, MMMM d, yyyy
    • Short time - h:mm tt
    • Long time - h:mm:ss tt
You can check the Region and language as well to make sure. It is located on the same Adjust date/time window.

It can be a simple graphic concern so you can also try and update your display driver. Just type in
devmgmt on your search bar beside the Start button. A new window should appear. Expand
Display adapters then right click on your adapter. Click
    Properties.
Then go to Driver tab, then click Update
    Driver.

If you have any other concerns, don't hesitate to come back to us.

  4. correct timezone not available in windows 10 date/time setup, how can I fix?

How can I set Windows 10 timezone to Tunis?

How do I set up Windows 10 to be in the correct timezone for Tunis, Tunisia?

If I go to Settings, Time & Language, Date & Time, I can choose a timezone, but Tunis is not in the list. Why not? Other operating systems get this right. How do I fix this?

(I don't want to set the timezone to another one with a similar time offset, because I want the time to be adjusted automatically with daylight saving correctly.)
