Windows 10: Correct version for a driver from the Update Catalog for my Windows 11 computer?

I have a Ryzen 5 5600U based computer Ace Magician AMR5, and the display driver shows as version 30.0.13023.4001. Because Windows 11 loves to automatically update the driver on setup, and because more recent drivers cause a weird issue with the pointer when using Edge, I want to download the driver to have it on hand for when I need to install it. The problem is, which is the right one to download? My computer has Windows 11 Pro. The two in the red box are the choices. Which one is the right one for my Windows 11 Pro system? The wording is throwing me off.Thank you for the help.

Windows Update Catalog / Search Options

Windows Update Catalog is a website that offers updates for computers. Through this, you can download Windows Updates manually. Here are the steps on how to download Update from Window Update Catalog manually:

• OpenWindows Update Catalog.
  
• In the search text box, type your search terms. (Example: Windows 10 1607 X64)
• Click Search.
• Browse the list that is displayed to select the updates that you want to download.
• Click Add for each selection to add it to the download basket.
• Click view basket under the Search box to view the download basket.
• Verify your list of updates, and then click Download.
• Note If you are prompted, click Accept to accept the license agreement.
• Select the location where you want to save the updates. You can either type the full path of the folder, or you can click Browse to locate the folder.
• Click Continue to start the download.
• When the download is complete, click Close to close the Download Window.
• Close the Windows Update Catalog Window.
• Find the location that you specified in step 9.
  Note: If you have downloaded device drivers for installation, go to
  Installing Drivers.
• Double-click each update, and then follow the instructions to install the update. If the updates are intended for another computer, copy the updates to that computer, and then double-click the updates to install them.

Windows Update Catalog driver update package corrupted

since i made this post, two more printer drivers, appearently older than what is included with windows 10 FCU, are listed as being needed by windows update EIS (I have now switched from ESS 10 to EIS 11). I do have the hide update troubleshooter. so i will
hide the three updates and see what happens.

I did try to manually d/l the drier files from the windows update catalog, and when extracted they too had the "data after the end of the payload" error.

for reference these are the two drivers:

Looking at the .inf in the two .cabs has revealed that these two drivers are for the "Microsoft print to PDF" driver and the "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" driver. I don't know why windows thinks it needs an older version of what should be already a newer
version

I will try hiding all three updates using the 'hide update troubleshooter' and see what happens

 

Windows update keeps replacing ALPS Touchpad driver with a Synaptics driver.

I suggest you to uninstall and delete the previous drivers and the latest drivers for the touchpad and install the required version of the driver from Device Manager by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
• Expand the Touch pad driver.
• Right click on the driver and click on update/install.
• Select the required version from the on-screen prompts.

And for the problem with the installation of printer drivers, I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Update” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
