Windows 10: Corrupt files found when running Windows Resource Protection Scan

I ran a scan bc google was slow on my Surface and it came back saying Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix them. How can I fix these and how can I get my Surface to not run so slow on Chrome?

I thought the problem was fixed. Unfortunately, the error message has returned with later runs of SFC /SCANNOW. The message:

I would consider reinstalling Windows 10, but I just got through doing that to defeat the same problem. I must be doing something wrong. But how to proceed? That is the question.

Windows Resource Protection could not repair those files.

System file check is a utility built into the Operating System that will check for system file corruption. The sfc /scannow command (System File Check) scans the integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect,
corrupted, changed, or damaged versions with the correct versions where possible.

If you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log
