Corrupted Mouse Driver - Cannot Reinstall

Hello,Yesterday, my PC encountered a blue screen of death. Rebooting and Windows Auto-repair resolved the issue, but now my mouse is not working. My mouse is an ET T7. It works when plugged into another computer. Plugging in another mouse to my PC does not work. Windows Device Manager advises that the driver may be corrupted or missing. Uninstalling all mouse devices, including hidden ones, and rebooting does not resolve the issue. I am not given the option to delete the driver when uninstalling it. I have activated Human Interface Devices in Windows Services. I have tried downloading drivers

    :)

Wireless mouse "driver is unavailable" issues

    Hi,

The error Driver is unavailable means that there is no available driver installed for your mouse that’s why it is not working. We suggest that you check the mouse driver from the device manager. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
    • Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

If there is none, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer’s website of the mouse and download then install the latest mouse driver compatible to Windows 10.

Get back to us if you need further assistance.

  3. Wireless mouse not working after installing Windows 10

    Hello Kayle,

    Apology for delayed response.

As per description, this seems to be an issue with corrupt device drivers.

I would suggest you to Uninstall and Reinstall the Mouse Drivers and check.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Mouse Drivers.

Follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the driver:

      • Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

      • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

      • Search for the “Mice and other pointing devices”
from the device list and expand it, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may
select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.

      • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and restart the computer.
On restart, it will install the legacy drivers. Check if that resolves the issue.

Hope this helps. If you have any further queries/issues related to Windows, write to us and we will be glad to assist
