Windows 10: Corsair iCUE v5.9.105 Installation error

When I booted my Windows 11 PC on Wednesday, December 5th, 2023 ICU was no longer loaded on my computer. It would appear that iCUE tried to automatically update from V4, but I'm not sure. I searched for it in the Windows/ settings/ apps and there is nothing there. I followed the instructions here: Perform a clean reinstallation of the Corsair Utility Engine iCUE https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712?input_string=broken%3A+corsair+icue+v5.9.105+with+icue+murals. The app is no longer there.When I download CORSAIR iCUE v5.9.105 with iCUE Murals and try to execute the .exe

Windowws 11 right click context menu disappears quickly

I noticed this same issue after I uninstalled Corsair iCUE v4 and installed Corsair iCUE v5. Immediately after rebooting after the install:

• Icon spacing on the desktop was increased (this was fixed with editing the registry).
  
• Desktop background changed to black.
  
• Desktop context menu disappears quickly now on its own.
  

I noticed that black color background comes back every time I sign out of Windows account and then sign back in.

The context menu disappearing is a huge issue and extreme inconvenience.

 

Mouse vs Corsair Icue H150i Conflict Noise

Not sure this is a windows or corsair problem I post it there as well cause every time I move my mouse the pump makes noise

CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX making noise when I move my mouse left to right and up and down

when then mouse isn't moving it doesn't make that noise

It's the pump I have removed the software and the mouse and used a different mouse and it still making noise

thought it was the video card so I have replaced it with a new one cause it sounded like it was coming from it but after changing it the noise still there

and no I am not planning to reboot or reset my window that will be last resort after replacing water cooling

Be aware: May 10, 2022—KB5013943 May break Corsair ICUE service and other services for apps too.

I updated my PC to May 10, 2022—KB5013943 and the update went smoothly but after the restart, I found the Corsair ICUE app was not working well

I checked it and the Corsair service is not working at all I tried to restart the service and start it manually didn't work and got this error:





and here is the troubleshooting I did:

- sfc /scannow

- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

- Creating ServicesPipeTimeout in regedit

- Tried to install the Corsair ICUE again

Finally, I managed to make it work again by uninstalling KB5013943 from my PC and the app and other services worked again.
