Windows 10: cortana all the sudden cant hear me

my screen went black out of no where?? I was playing a card game,went to cook something came back and couldn't get my computer to turn on?? finally after 30 minutes of playing with it it turned on now its not doing everything? like the computer cant hear my questions I ask? the icons are pure white?? like my CNN ,card games apps??alllike it crashed.how do I update need help?

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar.
• Select Playback Devices.
• Click on the Playback Devices and right click on the
  Speakers/Headphones.
• Check mark on the Show Disabled Devices and
  Show Disconnected Devices.

If the issue persists the follow the below step.

Step 2:
