Windows 10: Cortana No Longer Searches Internet Web

Discus and support Cortana No Longer Searches Internet Web in Cortana to solve the problem; I have good internet connection with all apps i.e. Edge, Firefox, Outlook 2016, ... except Cortana.     Cortana No Longer Searches Internet Web


    I have good internet connection with all apps i.e. Edge, Firefox, Outlook 2016, ... except Cortana. Cortana only searches my PC, not the internet.


    I'm using Edge 84.0.522.40.


    Four days ago Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems was updated KB4560960 & KB4497165


    I've tried turning my Metered Connection ON and OFF, but it makes no difference.

    Cortana only providing web search answers since upgrading to Creators Update and will not run my Programs

    Cortana is integrated with search to make the experience better for users.

    You may try turning off the web search in Cortana and check if it helps.



    Kindly perform the below steps:

    • Click on the Cortana Search box.
    • Go to Notebook tab.
    • Click on Settings.
    • In Settings, Turn off the option Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alert and more.
    • Also, turn off Search online and include web results option.

    Cortana web searches not opening

    Unfortunately this didn't work. It works for Explorer (turn optimize on / set register to 1), but when I turn it off / set to 0, I get the situation I described earlier.
