Windows 10: Cortana/Search non working

    My Cortana/Search feature does not work at all. i click it and it just kinda highlights it and i cannot type into it. i rely on this quite a bit any ideas?

    I can search by typing with keyboard but doesn't work when i ask something!!

    Windows 10 search and Cortana not working

    Hi,

    I installed Windows 10 in November 2014. Recently my search bar and Cortana have stopped working. Nothing happens when I try to type in the search bar. The search bar is completely non-functional. When I click on Cortana icon nothing happens at all. I
    cannot access the settings for Search or Cortana either.

    Please help me correct this issue. I have restarted my computer many times and it has not corrected it. I have tried the task manager processes but Cortana is not listed there.

    Cortana/Search non working

    Clean install earlier, then out of the blue I've got this 'Speech' folder again and Cortana now works again.
    Can't think of anything I did different!

    I dont wanna clean install again lol just did that reinstalled all my crap ha ill look around a bit
