Windows 10: Cortana "Sorry, I can't open any apps here."

Hello, I have a new out of the box Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro. My PC and Phone are connected properly and I can do things on my phone like open and set the alarm or schedule a reminder but when I ask it to open messenger or Facebook and other apps I just get "Sorry, I can't open any apps here." I went through the settings and could not find a reason for this. Any ideas? I know the phone is an Android and Not Windows 10 but I thought someone would have an idea since they are both connected. BTW, Cortana works perfect for me on Windows 10.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Cortana will not sync with my andoid device cortana app and the windows 10 pc embedded app!

There are several workarounds that we can perform for us to troubleshoot the problem with your
Cortana on your Android device. In the meantime, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• On your Android device, open Settings.
• Go to Application Manager.
• Select the Cortana app.
• Tap on Clear Cache.
• Reset your device.

cortana won`t talk to me

• Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
• Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
• Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
• Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.
