Windows 10: Cortana still opens with my "Hey Cortana" command but closes a moment later regardless of...

I am using a new Logitech Webcam which works fine with Google and voice commands. I have refreshed my Microsoft account, I have tried all suggestions provided including Task Manager restart, Powershell (Admin) commands and a Windows 10 reload...nothing helps. I may have to give up and call in a tech $$$. All went bad after Win10 1903. Any ideas?

Cortana opens then closes after update 1903

Hi Vijay, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately neither solution made any difference. Cortana will open on "Hey Cortana" but then closes a moment later regardless of what I say or do. If I click on the "O" prompt on the taskbar she will open then close
a second or two later, and again, regardless of what I say or do.

 

Closing Cortana with a voice command

The correct phrase would be: "Hey Cortana, close Cortana"

Alternatively, you could say "Hey Cortana...", if she listens but doesn't receive a command within a few seconds, she will close automatically.

Or, you can press the Windows Key rapidly twice.

 

Cortana not responding after "Hey Cortana"


Hey guys, I have windows 10 pro 64bit and a couple days ago when I said hey cortana it opened up and I could say stuff like what time is it. Now (without changing anything) it responds to "Hey Cortana" but after that it just says "Listening..." until I close it. Same thing if I trigger it with the mouse. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
