Windows 10: Cortana what it was and what it has become

how come Cortana use to be able to open pretty much anything and execute actions like "Cortana open the update and security section and search for new updates" and it would do exactly that and now it turns around and says it is unable to do that or gives a list of **** about how to manually go and do what I just told i to do.


Cortana used to be able to perform such a simple task and now it can't so I am forced to ask what has changed?


This is typical for Microsoft, they have a good idea nd then don't follow through, at this rate you are never going to catch google and their Google AI Voice Assistant, while it may sometimes be a pain in the **** and you have to spend the time to personally train it once it is trained at least it does what u tell it too.


Which I suppose brings me to the point, "Microsoft, either step up and ensure Cortana works how it should, or pack it in, admit defeat, pull Cortana off the market and ask Google to make a package t integrate their assistant into windows along with the full licensing pack you are going to need to be paying for because at least their "Assistant" works while Cortana just takes up space and resources now.


What's it going to be because I actually would like an answer?
