Windows 10: Could not connect: Outdated Client! Realms has updated - Stuck in v1.20.62

I'm aware that others have encountered this issue but my Minecraft Bedrock edition is stuck in 1.20.62. I have windows 11 as my OS.I have tried resetting my Microsoft Store cache. I have restarted my laptop as there was an update available and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Minecraft launcher. My system is up to date. All my apps are apparently up to date, I have tried to check for updates in the XBOX app. My Geforce driver is up to date.So what happens is whenever I try to join a realm that me and my friends are in, it always says "Could not connect: Outdated Client! Realms has update

nope still says outdated client even after update because i was already at the latest version but the realm is in a future version??? i dont know how to explain because the realm says 1.13.0.4 and mine says 1.12.0

When joining my friends' realm, I get the error in the title. I see from the patch notes that v1.20.70 is available, but my game reads v1.20.62, despite the launcher being set to 'latest release'.

Here are the following things I've tried (I'm on Windows 10):

• Updating Windows: Both through restarting the computer and through checking updates in 'Update & Security' (which required me to manually adjust the partition size). My system is fully up to date.
  
• Updating GeForce driver.
  
• Updating the Windows Store.
  
• Troubleshooting the Windows Store itself.
  
• Removing and reinstalling the Minecraft launcher and game.
  
• Checking for updates under 'Manage' in the Minecraft launcher in the Xbox Windows application.
  

Note: All applications are up to date according to the Windows Store.
