Windows 10: Could not find this item. This is no longer located in C:\Users\ Windows 11

Hello,I have a file on my desktop that, for some reason, cannot be deleted, moved, or renamed.I have tried many solutions, including all of the ones here: 6 Ways to Fix the “Could Not Find This Item” Deletion Error in Windows makeuseof.comPlease help, I am running Windows 11.Thank you.

My Problem is, when ever i wanted to create a new folder or a file on desktop it is showing like below:

could not find this item

This is no longer located in c:\users\my pc name. Verify the item's location and try again - desktop

If anyone can help me. pl. do the needful

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

any more suggestions
