Could the Windows Lock Images stick around a bit longer?

I've been voting on the Windows Lock Images that I get, but I've found that it seems when I vote, the image changes quickly. Perhaps it's my imagination, but it seems that the images stick around longer (last several days), when I delay voting, but then I risk not getting a vote in.

It would seem to me that if I vote that I like a Windows Lock Image, that it should last a few days. Could that feature be added to this functionality?

    Thanks.

    :)
