I notice some faults recently.IBUYPOWER PrebuildCPU - i5 9400fRam - 8 GBGPU - RTX 2060 6gb MB - Asrock B360m IB-R 1I notice some pixels are flickering on my monitor. I made sure it's not the monitor by pluging other devices into it and it work fine, no flickering. I plug the cable into a next DP port and the flickering stops. Okay so I guess that DP port is going bad, same goes for my HDMI port when I tap lightly it a bit the whole monitor goes black and come back. Final issue now is that when i power on my computer it stuck on the Ibuypower logo and won't budge but if I hold down the power bu

Windows update: one PCIe slot and one GPU kaput

Memtest86 is good, but no RAM tester can detect all possible RAM failures. I would suggest that you adopt a slow and careful step-by-step approach to troubleshooting this clear hardware issue.

I would suggest that you strip the PC to the bare minimum. Unplug all external devices except monitor, mouse, and keyboard. You've already removed the GPU, so remove all but one RAM stick (and try other RAM sticks too). Remove unnecessary PCIe cards (extra USB ports cards, WiFi cards, for example). If it fails in as stripped-down version as you can achieve then I'd look at the PSU, and then the motherboard.

This isn't a software issue though.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Optical Drive Issue

    Hello Anak –

Appreciate your detailed return. Your added steps really helped.

Assuming I did the steps correctly, this is where I am now.

Screenshot 12 shows my CD Disc shortcut on my desktop.
Screenshot 10 shows the CD Drive shortcut listed in the “Send to” listing.
Screenshot 11 shows the “Send to” listing after the steps were taken, but the CD drive name is not listed.

So, it appears the steps did not work for me. And, I did try the steps, “If it still won’t do ……” and still no luck.

    What do you think?
