On Windows 10 I could turn off the option 'When I resize a snapped window, simultaneously resize any adjacent snapped window'. On Windows 11 I cannot. It drives me nuts. I want the option to resize all my windows without them resizing their neighbours. I want to be able to make them overlap. A lot of other multitasking options exist in Windows 11, but not this one. Please bring it back!

Adjacent snapped window won't resize

I've been using windows 10 for a while now, but after the Anniversary update, I noticed that the draggable bar that appears between two snapped windows is gone. When I resize one snapped windows, the one next to it doesn't resize. It only works when I
turn on tablet mode. I have the "When I resize a snapped window, simultaneously resize any adjacent snapped windows" option turned on in settings and also used System File Checker to check for corrupted system files but it didn't find any. I don't know if
this is a bug in the OS or its just an issue with my computer. Please help.

A couple of weeks ago, I discovered AquaSnap (AquaSnap Window Manager: dock, snap, tile, organize) and I've been using the free version now since then.

This tool disables the option "When I resize a snapped window, simultaneously resize any adjacent snapped window".

By default, it disables the Snap windows Multitasking setting, but then you can't move a maximized window by dragging its title bar.

If you enable the Snap windows Multitasking setting again, this becomes possible again (even if all sub options are disabled).
