Could you help me pinpoint the cause of my recent bluescreens?

HelloI have recently had some problems with my laptop, an asus rog strix g513, running windows 10 in the form in bluescreens or failures to boot. The laptop was bought about 2 years ago.The failures get fixed after a restart, but just today I have installed a few drivers from my manufacturer's site and a windows update and after some time, when I booted the PC I was prompted to use the Windows Restore feature. The bluescreens have been appearing at a frequency ranging from almost a month to about one per week recently. I have done a chkdsk and checked my ram memory for errors, but it seems to b

  2. Windows 10 DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION bluescreen, help pinpointing the problem?

I get this error where my computer totally locks up, no control over anything, and then I get this bluescreen. It happens rarely and seemingly with no pattern. I can go months without it happening, or it can happen a week or two after the last time. In any
case, I'd like to know what's causing it. I took one online solution's advice and switched my AHCI driver to the generic supported one, but seeing as this is a rare issue I have no idea if it's actually solved.

Here's a link to my bluescreen dump, any help pinpointing the troublesome driver or error that causes this would be greatly appreciated.

  3. Windows 10 DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION bluescreen, help pinpointing the problem?

Hi, thanks for the reply, but I've already checked drivers, specifically many that have been reported to be the cause of these kinds of Bluescreens. You can see I posted a download link to my Bluescreen dump, if it's possible I'd like some help pinpointing
exactly the driver that is causing the issue.

If it's any help, even though this error has only occurred a few times in this PC's (still young) life, all 3 of them occurred while using the wifi card as an access point for other devices, using the hosted network feature through the windows command line.
However, I've also used this feature countless times without issue. That's really the only consistency throughout the times this error has occurred. When playing games the error has never happened, just during regular computer usage, such as internet browsing
or other such light use. I use Firefox as my web browser, and that's always been open when this issue happens. I've noticed that Firefox has quite the number of issues on Windows 10 still, perhaps that could cause it?

In any case, I'd just like some help finding which driver might be the problem.

    bluescreen

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community.

I understand that it can be frustrating for you when the computer shows bluescreen errors. Bluescreen errors are usually caused due to faulty hardware or drivers. We will try to narrow down the cause of the issue by performing a few steps.

    1. Do you get bluescreen errors randomly or while performing any specific actions such as playing a game or running any particular application?
    2. Do you see any error code along with the message “DRIVERS POWER STATE FAILURE”?
    3. Are there any external devices connected to your computer?

The usual causes for bluescreen errors are Graphic card drivers and Network adapter drivers. We can go ahead and try to update the drivers.

Refer the article Update drivers in Windows 10 on how to update Graphic card
    and Network drivers.

You may also refer the article Troubleshoot blue screen errors
for additional troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.

You can reply to this post if you need further assistance

    Hope it helps.
