Windows 10: Couldn't add new language in settings

My dad just refurnished a second-hand laptop for me and while I was setting up the laptop, I realized I couldn't add a new language in the settings; I clicked the 'Add a language' and tried to type in the language I want to install, but the 'next' button cannot be pressed, and no results popped up. According to my dad, everything was fine when he first installed the English language pack before handing the laptop to me.Does anyone know what could be the cause for this?

Thank you for the post.

You can use the following steps to resolve this in a timely manner:

• Go to Settings > Language+Region.
• Tap the Phone language.
• Select a new language (Make sure that you're familiar with the language).
• Download the language pack and then restart the phone.
• After that, retry to update your phone by going to Settings > Phone updates.

Try this:

Before you get to that message, press SHIFT + F10 to open a command prompt.

Run diskpart.
At the diskpart prompt, run these commands:

list disk

At this point you should see the SSD as disk 0. If it has another disk number, use that number rather than "0" in the next command.

select disk 0
clean
exit (to exit from diskpart)
exit (to exit from the command prompt)





That should clear the contents of the disk. The entire disk space should then show up in Windows setup as "Unallocated Space" as in the screenshot below.
