Windows 10: Couldnt connect to update Service

This happened out of no where, usually i can get windows update pretty well and whenever im notified for a restart, i do it. But since yesterday ive been getting this error code saying "We couldn’t connect to the update service. We’ll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn’t work, make sure that you’re connected to the Internet.". At first i thought this would pass away and update will download on its on as it does. But today i cant install some apps onto my laptop, and when i searched up the error code i was getting from the interrupted installation of that app, the support

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
