How am I supposed to use my computer with this going on?*** Is there a way to stop the system doing whatever it is doing? I've only got Microsoft Word open and the computer sounds like it's about to take off using the cooling fan. Ryzen 5 3500U 2.1GHz, 8gb ram***Couldn't upload pic, description below***In Task Manager: [Service Host: Windows update] using 25.4% of CPU and 232.4mb of RAM[Antimalware Service Executable] using 13.3% of CPU and 164.4mb of RAMThat's 38.7% of my CPU and 396.8mb of RAM used by two system processes. Add everything else on to that system, desktop manager, whatever els

  2. Memory: Ram and CPU max out

Ram and CPU max out when using my external hard drive (170 Gbytes used out of 1 Tbyte) to play music while using my internal hard drive to run a program, such as Thunderbird to read emails. This causes my computer to stall out and/or freeze either one
or both the music or the program to temporarily freeze until the computer can catch up. I keep my computer clean weekly with quality anti-malware, anti-spyware, junk byte, and other maintenance cleanup programs. I only use my computer as a pass-through for
email reading and to load and read the external hard drive. I store nothing on my computer, and free space is huge (449 Gbytes available out of 499 Gbytes possible). All programs on my computer were recommended by pc World. This problem only happened after
the latest automatic upgrade from Microsoft. This laptop has a 500 Gbyte hard drive with 4 Gbyte Ram with an ASUS 1.6 Ghz x64 4-core clocked at 80meghz that is 1 year old. Belarc says my system is healthy. Rebooting will fix the problem temporarily, but it
always returns after 6 hours or less.
