    Cpu cooler Fan is failing and has been for months despite just finishing the build in...


    It’s also causing system freezes on occasion and playing VR yesterday I think it throttled itself because I lost a lot of frames very quickly.

    I have an AIO coming in a couple of days. (Hopefully). Is there anything I can do to mitigate the issue until then? As I have people really wanting to play VR today.

    Need Help with "Ejectable" CPU Cooler

    Have you posted on the Corsair forums ? If it's a peculiarity of the cooler a fix may be common knowledge there.

    It's certainly a strange concept to have a cooler showing in Safely Remove. I wouldn't think this was Windows doing though.

    As it would. I see there is an USB cable on the pump head that runs from an internal USB Header.

    This issue is likely to do with whatever the USB does. Likely a fan\pump speed profiling and monitoring software ?

    With a bit of luck, if this tool were 'ejected' accidentally the pump and fans would go into full speed (default) vs stop and cook.

    btw - It wasn't a Corsair, but the pump on my 3yr old liquid cooler failed a couple of weeks ago. Hot time for a few minutes.

    No harm to the cpu fortunately, and lucky to still have an Hyper 212 EVO around for quick replacement.

    Maybe better having a failed pump than a leak ? Better. A failed fan on a radiator. Best. A failed fan on a large air cooler.

    Unable to fix Windows 10 CPU FAN ERROR

    I upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. It worked fine for a month until 2nd windows update. In every boot comes the Cpu fan error. I entered Bios and change the cpu fan speed from 600 to 500 and was able to boot; next time same error tried to change any thing
    related to the cpu fan and the same thing again and again. My antec has 4 fans all working fine ; the cpu has a cooler master which I changed for a new one. This is going for 10 days and my blood pressure is going up and I do not find any answer. The cooler
    fan is connected to the cpu fan in motherboard. Please somebody help, I will appreciate. Thanks

    Unable to fix Windows 10 CPU FAN ERROR

    I got no answer to my problem. I guess I have to get rid of windows 10 and format my hard disk and reinstall windows 7. That is a lot of work. Thanks anyway.
