    fan is running at full speed

    I have a problem with a fan because it is running at full speed all the time. It is an old problem which I am unable to fix. I think the OS cannot detect the hardware and force the fan to run at full speed. It is Dell Precision T3500, Windows 10, ver.
    10.0.17763.

    I received an error message saying: Card cage alert fan failure, press F1 to continue, Dell Precision T3500

    CPU Fan error, press F1 to continue, Fan is working perfectly, can I clear this error message?

    When I power up everything looks fine then it comes up with the message CPU Fan Error, press F1 to continue. I have had someone in to check the fan, he says it is working perfectly and you can hear it whirring, how can I get rid of this error message?
    Or is it thermostatically controlled and goes off after a while? (The fan!)

    CPU fan error

    I get the 511 cpu fan not detected and press F1, yet when the computer boots up, the fan is running. I am using windows 10. Why do I keep getting this when I turn on my desk top?
