Windows 10: CPU ghz stuck at 1.58 ghz after 5 mins of gaming

My pc specs are :i5 2400 3.10 ghzGTX 165016 gb ddr3 ramZEBRONICS B75 moboWhen i launch and play spiderman remastered for 5 minutes it works fine above 55+ fps but after 5 minutes it gets to 25-30 fps , for a few days i couldnt figure out why that was happening but today i opened my task manager as soon as the fps got to 25-30 and saw the cpu ghz was stuck at 1.58 ghz BUT!!!!! when i open discord i keep it minimized all the time and use it for like 20 seconds with spiderman remastered in my background NOT MINIMIZED SO GPU IS BEING USED THE CPU GHZ GETS BACK TO 3.10 ghz to 3.21 ghz and fps

cpu stuck at 0.78 ghz when on battery speeds up to 2.67 ghz and slows down to 1.30 ghz.

hello, this is a copy of my old comment "helo" there are some diffrence because my laptop changed > My cpu fan is not working while plugged in so cpu speed is stuck at 0.78 ghz.

my computer is 2.30 ghz average speed. max is about 2.70 or more and cpu speed up to 2.70

ghz and my cpu fan goes to full speed when on battery, and then slows down to 1.30 ghz or 1.00 ghz. what causes this and how do i fix it? also i think there might be some errors on this comment, Windows 21h2. intel core i5-5300U. i tried to change power plan settings restarted my laptop a few times edited power plan settings max cpu 100% and minimum 100% i changed and it didnt work. it i s very annoying. the problem started now. also i tried to update my windows and didnt work

 

CPU frequency locks at 0.78 GHz

Hello,

My CPU get locks at 0.78 GHz and not going up or down. In the same time when CPU is locked at 0.78 GHz,

laptops fans runs fast (noisy) but the coming air is not even hot.

I have found a tool named Intel(R) Extreme tuning utility to use it as monitor of "what's going on with my system",

i'm not overclocking or changing something in CPU.

Tuning utility shows value of "Thermal Throttling" as 100% i think this is the reason why CPU stays at 0.78 GHz, it get down step because of this thermal throttling.

CPU package and core temperature is normal around 40c .

All this information is visible into this picture:



With random combination of reboots, shutdown unplug power and plug power CPU gets frequency stepping again

Thermal Throttling is becoming zero and fans stop... and everything goes normal.

Can someone explain what is connection between Windows (10) OS and CPU freq. stepping.

I think there is some connection because of available options in power plan settings, there is options Processor power management

that can control CPU min and max freq. state, but i'm not pretty sure is it related to "Thermal Throttling".

 

CPU usage stuck at 2.00 GHz in games with 100%cpu usage

well half year ago I updated my laptop from window 10 to 11 then about 3 months ago I got it back to windows 10 ,

My problem is that my CPU now working very very slow and it get stuck on 0.91 GHz fast I fixed it with ThrottleStop and its now working well when I do any thing but when I play any game the laptop stuck at 2.00ghz with CPU usage 100%.

So any help please,

My CPU is intel core i5 1035G1
