Windows 10: CPU Idle temperatures and overclocking issues

Hello, I few months ago I bought a Dell Intel Inspiron 16 plus 7630 laptop, as my previous computer unfortunately corrupted. The computer has been working well up until recently, when the was an up-tick in my CPU temperature. Previously, it would rest at around 50-55C Numbers via NZXT Cam, but now it constantly stays closer to 65-70C, by running nothing. Even when I use the laptop to game, most of the time, the laptop would stay relatively cool at around 60-68C, but now is constantly near 79-80C. Additionally, the Mhz is constantly maxed overclocked? at 4900Mhz on Idle However this has

CPU temperatures when idle

Did you check the processor's heatsink? No heat sources near the computer?

It is possible that the CPU temperature isn't reported correctly. There are specific situation where this happens.

If you look at the temperature in the BIOS, that should be correct there however. Also the board should hopefully be set to turn off before an actual 85. If it really gets too hot, it can damage.

Overclocking also should increase heat as well.

 

CPU temperature issue in Windows 10 upgrade

Hi,

I have upgraded the windows 7 to windows 10 its look good. But I noticed though, that system temperature is rising really quickly after system startup and CPU temp don't go below 50°C and fluctuating second by second and it goes
to 95°C as well.

• Only 10-15 minutes after startup CPU temperature hits 90°C when system is running totally idle
• If I start browsing the internet, temperature jumps to 95°C
• Task managers show system process between 18-20% of CPU; all other processes are between 0-1%
• All drivers are up to date

tell me how to solve this issue otherwise it will harm my computer.

Second thing pls tell me how to make windows 10 recovery disk so that in future I will kept for urgency.

 

Overclock cpu

Visw... Why not overclock the cpu a bit? Its no short notice that the booklet has too little ram and a laggy processor. The benefits of overclocking 200mhz from 1.6 to 1.8 are tremendous, and the battery impact is minimal.



I say go for it. the atom z530 can be overclocked 30%, or 480mhz safely. I suggest no more than 15-20% which would put the processor running at 1.8 or 1.9.
