  1. CPU running hotter than usual while running any task

Hi. I have an MSI GL63 laptop with i7 9750h and gtx 1660ti. The laptop has good thermals and I have undervolted it to -130mv using throttlestop. The game that I play most often is FIFA 19. Usually, while running this game with max fans the CPU temperatures used to stay under 80 degrees Celcius even after prolonged use. Now recently I have noticed that while playing this game the CPU temps keeps on rising and after 10-15mins of use it reaches above 90 degrees and starts thermal throttling. This is the same case with other games as well. This issue started a few days back only. I have faced this issue in the past as well but usually it used to return to normal in a few days. I thought it was because of some malware, virus, or some corrupt files, so I tried scanning using windows defender and Malwarebytes but it didn't help. I also did sfc/scannow and chkdsk C:/f , but they didn't find any error. The laptop is just a year old and all the vents and fans are perfectly clean.

Please help me in this regard.

    :)

CPU running hotter since installing Fall Creators Update

I installed the Fall Creators Update a couple of days ago. And ever since, my CPU (AMD FX-8320) has been running temperatures about 4 or 5 degrees Celsius warmer than before, as if it's doing some long CPU-intensive job. But the Task Manager shows nothing of the sort.

With the new Task Manager History feature, I saw that Cortana has managed to use more than 6 minutes of CPU time per day. Is that normal? Could that be what's causing my CPU to run hotter? Or maybe the Indexing Service or Norton Antivirus has gone crazy?

I tried running the CPU cooler fan and case fans on high speed, but even that doesn't bring down my CPU's "fever."

Any ideas? It's annoying because the CPU and case fans are responding to the higher CPU temps by running faster, which has made them noisier.

Windows Audio device Graph Isolation is making my cpu run hotter

Just yesterday when i changed my pc case out, i noticed my fans spinning a lot faster than usual, i checked my windows task manager and noticed a "Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation" adding a 15% cpu load totaling 30% with all other processes. the result of this is a 120 degree F average temp, when it should really be (what im okay with) 90F.

My audio is fine with out touching anything, end the process and i get no audio,*note when i did this i got a message from windows saying "no audio?" and went to their site and followed their instructions* upon reading some stuff i go into my device manager, the audio section, and i notice this new USB pnp Audio Device, which i never noticed (or was just blind) till now, uninstalled it and rebooted my PC, the device was still there +i had audio +the process wasn't running.

Turned my PC on today and the Process is back and my temps are up.

does anyone have a good way to remove the process permanently? also could it be the HD audio i connected to my motherboard from my front panel?
