Windows 10: CPU Temp gone after User files deleted

I tried making room on my Windows C drive, so i tried moving my user files to the D drive data to free up space. I’m sure knowledgeable PC owners read that and think it’s so dumb, but I didn’t know it was a bad thing, just moving it to another file in my head. Luckily i got everything kind of back to normal after everything being gone in a second from my desktop. Examples are my desktop picture was no longer there, icons were all gone and apps didn’t work. I got the apps back, but the last problem is my CPU temp doesn’t show up in my MSI dragon center, so now my advanced fan setting doesn’t

These temp files will not delete

Method 1:

• Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
• Type "temp" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.

If the issue persists, follow method 2.

Method 2:

• Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
• Type "%temp%" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.
  

If the issue persists, follow method 3.

Method 3:

I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe Mode, then perform disk cleanup on Windows 10 and check, if it works.

Cannot delete files in Temp

There are a few files that i cant delete in
C:\Documents and Settings\1st User\Local Settings\Temp
which are ~DF567B.tmp, ~DFB71E.tmp, ~ROMFN_000007A8 and Perflib_Perfdata_7a8.dat. And some times there are a few more.
What are these files and why cant they be deleted?

Windows Temporary files are created by the operating system during the normal course of its running when there may not be enough memory allocated for the task.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to delete temporary files nad check if it helps:

Step 1

• Press Windows key + R
• Type temp and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 2

• Press Windows key + R
• Type %temp% and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 3

• Press Windows key + R
• Type prefetch and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete
