Windows 10: Cpu temp suddenly spikes with WATER AIO COOLER

everything used to be fine for couple of months after building the pc . suddenly i notice cpu temp spikes from 50 -55 - 60 -70 without any programs running. and sometimes while gaming the cpu temp goes all the way up to 90 degree and the pc and CPU AIO cooler gets really hot. i tried running cpu stress test and the temps wont go over 70 degrees .

While I agree with your conclusions, I would suggest a different order in which to implement them.
I would address the CPU cooling issues first. Then determine if it's necessary to change motherboards.

If an upgraded Air Cooler or AIO water cooler solves your problems then you will save quite a bit of cash.
Might want to inspect the cooler mounting when you open it up and make sure its securely mounted.
If it has the push pin mounting setup, sometimes they can pop loose when pc is moved or transported.

Question About AIO Water Cooler

Hello All

Think about getting possibly in the future my very first AIO water cooler for my 10th Gen Intel based system, as really wanna be able to take advantage of the full cpu speed it offers, sure i could just find a not too big Air Cooler, and probably get that installed, but perhaps AIO would be easier to install of a noob like me,

if Covid 19 wasn't an issue and if i didn't have issue with the masks, i'd just have local PC shop do the upgrade, and save me stress from trying it my first time.


Would i lose my Bluetooth 5.0 Connection from my wifi card, if i installed a AIO water cooler, like the NZXT Kraken X53 240MM cooler?

First off the USB header it refers to is on the MB which is next to another USB plug on the MB

The ports out of that are plugged in through either the 3.0 Plug next to the sata and 24pin and one of the slots i mentioned through case wiring

You should have one free USB on your MB for the the pump USB adapter you should be fine
