Windows 10: CPU temps skyrocketed to 90-100 C after controller/general driver update

Good evening. Ive just ran a driver update via device manager update on my X56 HOTAS systems, and ran "Get-WindowsUpdate -MicrosoftUpdate -AcceptAll -AutoReboot" on powershell. After restarting my computer, my CPU temp is now at a constant 90-100 C. But after opening my case, cold air is coming out of my CPU fan, any ideas? Motherboard temp = or >100° C

Systemax (Tiger Direct) desktop (server capable):

I've just discovered via C-Cleaner app, "Speccy," that my motherboard is running at or over 100° C. CPU is 32° C and HD is 36° C. PC fan is running, and room temp is 78° F. There have been no notices or warnings, and system is running smoothly. Are these
temps too high? Do I need a driver?

I've ignored the new releases for years now, and have been playing on 1.8.9, simply because the new versions run so poorly. And to add to the horrendous performance, whenever I launch the newer versions, my CPU usage skyrockets to the 90s for no reason, and the cooling fan sounds like a jet engine. I play a ton of games, and none of them do this. Sure sometimes it'll spike, but never to the 90s. I have an 8th gen i7.

 

why while playing my CPU is reaching 90-100?

Generally, that's a good thing as non use equals wasted. Roblox is likely just more CPU intense than the other things and you probably just happen to have a CPU that's not good enough to have lower usage. This is the almost certain reason here.

You can use a 3rd party application, game settings, or other things in an attempt to lower CPU usage if you have a heat issue (it may also cause fps loss as its a bottleneck as is). Its better to fix the heat issue however as that means your computer isn't working correctly. No heat issue then let it work at 90-100% and enjoy
