Windows 10: CPU usage is extremely high and games wont run properly

    CPU usage is extremely high and games wont run properly


    ive loaded up my computer and only 1 screen is showing an output, i load up rocket league and it is running at a constant 3/4 fps, ive tried updating graphics drivers and restarting the pc but i have the same problem, my cpu usage is stupidly high no matter whatThis device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. Code 31 {Operation Failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful. that is the error message on the drivers

    high cpu usage

    After downloading windows 10, anytime I run any programs, I get high CPU usage. It does not matter whether it is google chrome, task manager, playing games, whatever. Anything seems to spike the CPU usage. I have already run malwarbytes and my antivirus
    programs and find no viruses. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Extremely high constant CPU usage


    So up until this morning my Windows 10 desktop has been performing really well. When the machine is idle the CPU use is only in the 1-3% range.

    For some reason my idle CPU use is now CONSTANTLY 30-40% (even after a reboot)! Task manager says its "Service Host: Local System (15)". If I expand this process in task manager it lists:

    Why is this happening all of a sudden? Can anyone help please? I have all Windows Updates installed and I run an i7-3770 CPU.

    My machine is now slow/sluggish with 30-40% being hogged by these services!

    PS: I don't have any Malware installed as I run Malwarebytes Premium and the scan comes back clean. Some goes for a full anti virus scan.

    Extremely High CPU Usage - Multiple system processes

    My Windows Version: Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.592)

    About 2 weeks ago, I opened a thread on these forums regarding High CPU Usage due to the Service Host: DNS Client system process. To summarize, I was getting up to 100% CPU Usage due to this process and couldn't figure out how to make it go away.

    TairikuOkami recommended I disable DNS Client, after setting my DNS servers manually. This worked at the time and I considered the issue resolved.

    However, after a week later, I still keep getting High CPU usage up to 100% due to several "Service Host" system processes. Sometimes it subsides on it's own, other times I have to play loud music to drown out the jet engine noise.

    What could be wrong this time? How could I fix it?
