Windows 10: Crackling audio issues on my HP Pavillion Windows 11 computer

Hello, I saw this question on another thread but the thread was locked and so far I could find no solutions. I have a HP Pavillion laptop and I keep having issues with the audio. If I pause a video, or a game, or anything else for a long while the audio is fine but after a few minutes or so it makes a crackling noise and it gets worse if i make the volume higher. This is happening on my computer's speaker and any headphone, headset and earphone I plug in. The issue seems to be the output device. My microphone input and stuff are all fine just not the speakers. I did try troubleshooting but it

Windows 11 Audio Crackling

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 earlier today and ever since, I've had terrible audio crackling. Everywhere. Youtube, Spotify, games, local files, etc. I've tried everything I could, including all the solutions suggested on this thread (except doing a repair install). Updating, reinstalling, and searching for new drivers has so far amounted to nothing. My headphones aren't broken either, so I'm at a complete loss here.

Windows is totally up to date, too. Is there any way I can fix this?

 

Audio cracklings on Windows 11.

Hi! I want to fix my computer. I just installed Windows 11, and when I played music on it, I heard crackling sounds that shouldn't be there. I tried headphones, speakers, multiple tracks but still heard these cracks. I also tried recording the audio with OBS, and sending it to my smartphone to see if those crackles would still be heard. Surprisingly - yes. I tried updating the audio drivers, but 1) no new drivers were available, 2) locally saved drivers did not help 3) disabling and enabling the drivers did not help. What else can I try to solve this issue?

You said you updated your drivers, was this from the PC maker's Support Downloads web page and included Audio/Sound as well as BIOS which someone reported fixed this in the October thread?

Run System File Checker/DISM in WIndows 11:
