    Sound is crackling and not working right.

    I'm working with Windows 10 Home on a hand built desktop. Recently I started having issues with the sounds coming out distorted and crackling. I am running a Z97-A Asus motherboard with a EVGA GeForce GTX 950 graphics card. I've tried installing factory
    drivers, updating all drivers, and reformatting and reinstalling windows. I've even tried removing the video card... and the problem was still there. Not sure exactly when it started, but it was working just fine the other day. Also the front panel sound
    doesn't work at all, only popping and crackling at times.
