Windows 10: Crackling/Static like sound

hi so i was using my laptop on windows 10 and i opened a tab to watch youtube and suddenly a random crackling sound happened whenever sound played from the video. and its not just youtube its all sites.

it happens with both my headphones in and them out so its not my headphones that have an issue.


it started to happen weridly because i was playing with my friends and it was completely fine at the time then now its being weird.

please any solutions?



as a topic i am putting it under devices and drivers as i guess that is what it would come under.

Lumia 720 receiver hears static crackling sounds

Hi,

When i call someone they claim they hear static, garbled crackling sounds.

I've tested it and yes it happens. On my end, everything is fine.



It is not consistent.



I just got my phone back from repair and it's still not fixed.

They replaced the speaker, back cover.



To re-iterate, i hear fine. Everything sounds perfect from my phone. It's the person receiving the call that hears the crackling. I don't think the repair guys were listening to me when i told them that. I said it 3 times.



Can anyone provide any advice?

I've tried different sim cards

I've soft reset and hard reset my phone.
