Windows 10: Crash on Launch: Windows Store, Windows Photo Viewer, Windows Calculator

Issue: Windows Photo Viewer, Windows Calculator, and the Windows Store crash upon launch on my PC. Attempted Solutions: Reset Photo Viewer and Calculator in Apps, no change. Uninstall of both were successful as far as I can tell but when I go to reinstall them both, the Windows Store crashes on launch and cannot be opened. I go to the Windows store in my browser and attempt to download the calculator or photo viewer app, it begins to open the Windows Store app which crashes on launch. I look around and find others' asking similar questions to me now, "where do I find a way to download the

Sorry the inconvenience this is causing.

download the following utility and use it to remove Calculator completely:

After downloading, extract it, launch it, scroll through the list, select Calculator then click Remove.

Proceed to redownload Calculator from the Store:

How to get rid of raw file support in windows photo viewer?




I have downloaded this, and it did not work; photo viewer is not in the list of programs in Open With or Default App. I used option 2 step 3, followed by step 5 to 9.

Windows Photo Viewer isn't a Store app. It's a Windows system file instead.

You open Windows Photo Viewer by using "open with" to open an image file with it instead. Following the steps in the tutorial will set Windows Photo Viewer as the default program, and have it automatically open when you click on an image file.
