Windows 10: Crashed apps + Task manager consistently crash my pc.

I first made this post on reddit and I am not re-writing it so I'll paste it here:So I have been having this problem for a few weeks now, it's a long one.It started off on the game rust, my game suddenly began crashing, first on startup then on trying to get into a server. These crashes were not normal, when the game crashed I would not be able to close it in any way, it wouldn't end process or anything. While it was crashed my pc was in a weird state where I could not load stuff, so like I couldn't launch new applications, load new tabs in anything, sometimes use the windows search, couldn'

Microsoft Edge / DUI70.DLL causes Task Manager to crash.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the latest Microsoft Edge.
   
2. Open Task Manager with "performance" (or any other than "processes") as default tab.
   
3. Wait a few seconds.
   
4. Switch to "processes" tab.
   

After switched to "processes" tab, there's a small change Task Manager will crash (0xC0000005, faulting module: DUI70.DLL).

So I decided to use WinDbg and caught the crash into a MiniDump:

Hope you guys will fix bugs of Task Manager, it's very buggy. I encountered more crashes like 0xc0000409 NTDLL.DLL.

Task manager is still crashing when applied the above steps and explorer crashes as it takes a while to close and its stuck on a white window and i cant open start till it goes.

Consistent crashes - related to hpcommrecovery...

I have yet to do the long list of instructions. This status update indicates why...
I went into Services from Task Manager and set the hpcommrecovery to manual. It's been a few days now since I did that, and it has stopped the problem. I captured the screen on the details, and it doesn't tell me much. I searched on some of the data in that report and came up with nothing.





At this point, I'm wondering if I will miss hpcommrecovery. From what I find, this is what it does:

At this point, I'm not sure it's worth the effort you folks would put in supporting me as I step through the list of tasks.

I'll be glad to go ahead and do that if someone indicates I should resolve this.
