  1. Crashes after moving to GTX970

    Hi

I was running two AMD 6870 in SLI with no problems but recently updated to a Asus Strix GTX970.

The same games I was playing with no problems are now constantly crashing (5/10 minutes of gaming) - black screen and windows sounds on background OR just black screen with no sound OR reboot. It works fine doing normal tasks on windows.

At first I though it could be a driver issue, so I uninstalled, I installed again. The issue remained.

    My rig:
    Asus Z87 Pro
    I5 4670k
    Kingston 8GB DDR3
    Corsair 800W
    Windows 10 64bits

During the last crash I got a memory dump (but not during the others, so it may be a coincidence) - attached.

I have installed the Asus GPU Tweak II, ASUS AI Suite 3 and NVIDIA Geforce Experience.

    Haven't done any overclocking.

Please help... I'm in desperate mode.

    Thanks

    :)

  2. Creators Update [1709] - More than one Nvidia GPU not working

    Hey,

I actually got my cards running now.

After I disconnected everything from my second GTX970, I deleated all driver and all NVIDIA relevant Programms.

After that I made sure that one GTX970 works as it should.

In this state I used my computer for a month or so.

Today I tryed to connect my second GTX970 again to see if it already works.

And it seems to run. I hope you all get yours running too.

DirectX 12 support broken on Windows 10?

I have this same issue. GTX970, but says I'm still on 11.3 after upgrading to W10.

    Crashes after moving to GTX970

    Difficult to guess.

Did you uninstall the AMD drivers completely? I doubt that you'd see an improvement if you ran a driver remover, but it may be worth a try.

Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 15.7.3.1

I've had that sort of crash in the past due to a conflict with sound card drivers. (That was when I was running a discrete sound card.)
