    Happens when I try to boot windows, maybe 1/4 times. Doesn't actually show a blue screen, the screen just goes blank where it would normally show the spinning dot circle, and then restarts. I've reinstalled graphics drivers, crystaldisk says my ssd is good, memtest shows no errors, my pc runs completely fine otherwise, and doesn't blue screen once it's booted. I have no idea what's happening or what to do next.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    UT3 Crash on startup

    The usual startup crash I see on UT3 is on XP. Patching it with the latest DirectX update fixes it every time.
