Windows 10: Crazy stuff, cant login got to loose everything personal on drive

Lucky its only just some data relatively easy to replace as this is a relatively new setup, making a boat PC. Old one rusted out.
But crazy like once you tell it safe mode minimal to move to AHCI drivers, can no longer login because I use PIN numbers not a local account I suppose. Is that going to be a big problem on the boat with no internet access??

So its up to 40% now, I have to copy back over all my charts reinstall all the nav programs becuase of this stupid safe mode setting.
Now at 43%, this is a fast WD SS 500 blue, and look how slow this is. because maybe its using IDE drivers.

Gb's worth of NAV ENC chart data lost, that takes time to delete I suppose.

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

My Stuff disappeared


Strange indeed- build 318, whether live id login or local user I get the search options displayed in Cortana, and not My Stuff now.

UK English.

Noted that logged in using my live id, the options were at the top of the Cortana box, whilst as a local user they were at the bottom (assuming no other factor affected this).

MS posts suggest this:

Type in "indexing" in your Cortana search box, click "indexing options" and a box will pop up with the locations you have designated to be searched. If the drive or drives you want to include are not listed, click "modify" and add them by checking the ones you want. Be sure to include the drive your Windows 10 is installed on or you won't get the "My Stuff" to show up.

How can I get this mapped drive to reauthenticat at login

I'm trying to get this mapped drive on an xp machine to reauthenticate when the computer reboots or is logged back in. The account the user uses is on a domain that is currently unavailable (server failure). The physical drive being mapped is on the other server which has the other domain here.

Now i can login as another user i create on the domain, check reconnect at login no problem. But the next day files won't open unless she clicks the drive and enters the user password there. its not a big intervention, but id like it to be seemless.

Suggestions?
