    I bought Dell portable 5 yrs ago w/Win7. I upgraded to 64-bit Win7 Pro and created a partition. I installed Ubuntu in one partition. An update to Win7 wiped out runnable Windows7, don't know what else did, but not going to argue. All I want to do now is download Win10 to desktop and create bootable drive so I can install Win10 on portable. I don't care if it deletes Ubuntu. I'm afraid to do this without advice. CAN I do it? How? Portable will NOT download Windows 10 from Ubuntu, so I could do it all on portable. I tried.

    Hi,

    I'm looking for suggestions to create an iso file from a CD/DVD that runs on Win10. Freeware or commercial is fine but my preference is no ads. I'm looking to create a multiboot usb from some programs I have on bootable CDs. Can't seem to find any programs
    that were reviewed so i'm hoping to get some suggestions from the community. Thanks.

    Off Topic: Need to create iso files from CD/DVD on Win10

    I've been using
    Ultraiso     for many years. I backup all my CDs and DVDs with it and also use it to customize them. I recommend it and u can try it before you buy.

    TSSTCorp CDDVDW TS-L633C reads/writes CD but not a DVD since WIn10 install

    toshiba apparently doesn't have drivers (or anything useful regarding "support" for that matter) for my laptop with Win10 installed. Even having met the requirements for Win10 Home, my Satellite C655-S5128, isn't on their "compatible" list...they inform
    me after-the-fact?!?

    i still have had no success with uninstalling & reinstalling the dvd driver in compatibilty mode because i'm still needing the specific path to it's location as previously requested.

    the ONLY development i've seen, is that the drive DID recognize a SONY DVD+RW disc but DID NOT recognize a MAXELL DVD-RW disc.

    Mixmeister still is unable to "initialize the CD-R engine" when i attempt to burn my mixset to disc from within the application. (as i type, Mixmeister is now "not responding"...going on thirty minutes).
