Windows 10: Create Password Reset Disk missing from Control Panel

I'm just posting this to say fix it, stop being lazy. It's an important feature and it's completely bugged in Windows 10 Professional which should humiliate you.

Solved.

Problem: When I click Start and search for "Password", then select "Create a password reset disk" in the search results, the dialogue starts then disappears. When you got to Task View, the dialogue appears in the list but when you select it to activated
it, nothing happens. The only thing that can be done in Task View is close the window. When I go to the Control Panel/User Accounts, the "Create a password reset disk" option is not listed anywhere.

Solution: Go to the Control Panel, enter "Password" in the search box in the upper right corner. "Create a password reset disk" is listed under the User Accounts heading in the search results. Click on it and it starts and runs correctly...at least it
did for me.

OS: Windows 10, Home

Windows Account Type: Local

User Type: User as Admin

I'm trying to create a password reset disk but the option is missing from the User Accounts section of the Control Panel. My understanding is that it should be listed in left hand panel if signed into Windows using a Local account and missing if signed
using a Microsoft account. Since I am logged in using a Local Account, the option should be visible but it is not. How do I make the option available so I can create a password reset disk?

Follow this:

Click on Start orb

Click on Control Panel (on the right side panel)

Change "View by" (on the right) to "Small icons"

Click on User Accounts

Under Control Panel Home, "Create a password reset disk" is the second one down in the list on the left.
