Windows 10: create recovery in unallocated hd memory

first: Welcome to TenForums! Take a couple minutes to introduce yourself, so we can say hello.
no problem, just where is the text box? Anyway, I 've been here before and many years in 7forum under ezwin.

My win10 hd 500 gb has 800 mb unallocated shown at the end, right side shown by win10 disk mgr.
First is system, then comes 0 = C:, then unallocated.
Can this be done: Create recovery in unallocated space? How? Does it make sense to do it?
winver 1809, it might change soon to >1900.

How To: Create recovery partition.

it worked when i copied all the files of the disk to the recovery partition i created, but i had to use WinPE tab to add the entry.

Type: WIM Image (Ramdisk)
Name: Recovery
Path: Z:\Sources\boot.wim
and hit Add Entry
I tried it in VirtualBox and it worked.
At first, it would add a second "Windows 7" entry to the list, but when the installation is finished, the old one is deleted. (I formatted only C: partition)

 

Unallocated Space to C Drive

Hi Travis,

It appears that a disk partition was created but was never assigned its allocation. Assuming there are no files stored in the unallocated partition, perform these steps to combine it with your C: drive:

• In Disk Management, right-click on (C which appears next to the
  Unallocated partition.
  
• Select Extend.

Let us know if you're able to combine the spaces after following the steps above.
